This is a recipe that my “niece” Bree created, hence the name. It’s different from your typical buffalo chicken dip, as you add ground chicken instead of shredded chicken. This is a dish that you can definitely put your own creative spin on. You can top it with blue cheese, use a blend of shredded cheeses, or just one type of cheese, etc. So easy to make and and very yummy!
1 lb ground chicken
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Crystal Hot Sauce (or your favorite)
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown ground chicken in skillet. Drain off excess fat. Place in bowl and add hot sauce (she doesn’t measure this step), just enough to coat the ground chicken and mix. Set aside.
Spread cream cheese in bottom of casserole dish, layer with half of the cheese.
Top with ground chicken.
Add the remaining cheese and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
Serve with crackers/tortilla chips.
